The Story Behind Mountain Bird Bagpackers
In 2022, what began as a simple visit to my friend's home in Jogindernagar, Himachal Pradesh — more a brother's home than a friend's — ended up changing the course of our lives. Back then, neither of us knew much about Bir Billing or the hidden gems scattered around it.
Over the next few days he took us to places most tourists never reach — Bir, Rajgundha Valley, Parashar Lake, Sissu, and countless local corners known only to the people who live there. What we found wasn't just another vacation.
For Taniya Verma, who has loved travelling since childhood, the mountains felt like home. For me, Arjun Verma, it was also the moment I saw something bigger: there were countless people who had never experienced this side of Himachal, simply because they never knew it existed.

The idea was born. We started out under the name MogliMads. But instead of rushing into business, we spent the next three years learning. We explored Himachal end to end, completed mountain treks, taught ourselves content creation and filmmaking, studied marketing, built other ventures, dug into traveller psychology, and immersed ourselves in the travel industry from the inside.
Every lesson, every mistake, and every experience eventually came together. In November 2025, we launched Mountain Bird Bagpackers (MBB).
Today, our mission is simple: to help people discover the same peace, wonder, friendships, and memories that first inspired us in the mountains of Himachal. And this is just the beginning.
What We Do
We craft curated group trips, guided treks, and creative escapes across Himachal, Uttarakhand and beyond — from the legendary Triund trek to hidden valleys most travellers never reach. Every itinerary is designed around real experiences: bonfires, workshops, slow mornings, and unforgettable company.
Beyond open group trips, we also plan custom journeys for colleges, corporates, parents, and private crews who want something built entirely around them.

Taniya has loved travelling since she was a child — for her, the mountains have always felt like home. Arjun is the one who saw the opportunity in sharing Himachal's hidden side with the world. Together they spent three years exploring, trekking, and learning the craft before launching MBB in November 2025. Every trip still carries the belief that first inspired them: that the right place, shared with the right people, can change you.
