Cold desert adventure
Your Next Adventure
Tucked between the Indian Himalayas and the Tibetan plateau, Spiti is a high-altitude cold desert that feels like a different planet. Ancient Buddhist monasteries cling to clifftops, prayer flags flutter in the wind, and the night sky explodes with stars unlike anywhere else.
Over seven days, you'll cross the legendary Kunzum Pass, sleep under skies thick with the Milky Way, share chai with monks at Key Monastery, and stand at the steepest motorable road in Asia. This is raw, soulful travel — for the explorer who wants more than a checklist.
Our small group format means you're never just another tourist. You'll be part of a tribe — sharing stories around campfires, swapping cameras for sunset shots, and walking away with friends you'll talk about for years.

Day By Day

Land in Manali, settle into your guesthouse, meet your trip captain and fellow travellers over a welcome dinner. We'll brief you on the journey ahead and share altitude-acclimatization tips.

Drive over the dramatic Kunzum Pass (4,551m) to the crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake. Camp lakeside under skies so dense with stars it feels unreal.

Continue into the Spiti Valley proper. Stop at Losar village for chai, then descend into Kaza — Spiti's main town. Acclimatize, explore the local market, meet shopkeepers selling apricot jam and fossils.

Visit the iconic Key Monastery — a thousand-year-old fortress of prayer halls clinging to a hilltop. Share butter tea with the monks. Continue to Kibber, one of the highest motorable villages in the world.

The 'high three' — Hikkim (world's highest post office, send a postcard home!), Komic (highest motorable village), and Langza with its famous Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Hunt for marine fossils on the slopes.

Explore the surreal Pin Valley National Park — home to the elusive snow leopard. Visit Dhankar Monastery perched on a cliff edge with views that will stop you mid-sentence.

Long but stunning drive back to Manali via Kunzum Pass once more. Final group lunch, exchange contacts and Insta handles, and head home with a thousand stories.
